The seller had originally intended to develop the 63-acre estate in keeping with recommendations he had received from other real estate agencies. Then the owner called Hunter Reed and Company in Unionville for a second opinion. ‘We recommended against development’, said Steve DiFrancesco, president of Hunter Reed. ‘This is a significant landholding in an area which many see as the country Gladwyne’, DiFrancesco said. ‘We felt that the estate was marketable as an entirety to an individual buyer’.
